Ching Tong The Ching Tong is a central point in the Mo Kwoon and is comprised of two seats (which are reserved for Sifu and Sigung, and certain other honored individuals) and a table with a small shrine. Above the table is the school's "Jiu Pai" (see below), as well as portraits of Sigung Moy Yat (on left) and Grand Master Yip Man (on right). Along the top of the picture are the names of other masters in the Ving Tsun lineage. |

Jiu Pai "Jiu Pai" means a "sign." At the top of our Jiu Pai is the "Moy Flower" with the number "2" inside of it. The "2" indicates that Sifu Moy Bah Hugh's (Pete Pajil's) school is the second branch school authorized by Sigung Moy Yat. Below the Moy Flower, are the characters for "Ving Tsun" (written horizontally from right to left). Under the characters for "Ving Tsun" are characters for "Moy Yat Kung Fu" (written vertically from top to bottom). |

Muk Yan Jong “Muk Yan Jong” translated word for word means “Wooden Man” – in other words, “Wooden Dummy.” Originally, it was known as the Mui Fah Jong—Mui Fah meaning Plum Blossom. Muk Yan Jong is a training device exclusive to Ving Tsun. It is the final stage of training for hand and foot techniques. Therefore, those who have studied the 108 Muk Yan Jong techniques must have first achieved a high level of proficiency in the art of Ving Tsun. You can learn more about the Muk Yan Jong in on our Muk Yan Jong page (includes movie and pictures). |

Seating Area Near the entrance to the Mo Kwoon we have a seating/observation area for visitors. |
Arch Way Near the rear of the main training area is an arch way that leads to the rear portion of the school. Through the arch way you will find our changing rooms (separate rooms for men and women), restrooms and showers, a guest room, and the kitchen. |
